Medical Benefits

Comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits, in which West pays on average between 70-80% of the costs for our team members (depending on annual earnings).

In a time where U.S. health insurance costs are expected to rise about 6.5% or higher next year, West is NOT increasing team members’ payroll contributions for Medical and Rx coverage in 2024!

401(k) Retirement Plan

West matches 100% of the first 3% and 50% of the next 2% of eligible pay contributions each pay period. PLUS, West contributes an additional 3% into team members 401(k) one time per year as a Non-Elective Contribution (NEC).

If a team member is contributing 5% of their salary, West contributes another 7% through match and NEC! For an employee making $20 per hour, that’s $1.40 per hour in additional compensation.

Operations Site Incentive Plan (OSIP)

OSIP is West’s quarterly bonus plan for team members at our manufacturing sites. The bonus, based on pre-set site metrics, is paid out upon achievement in February, May, August and November.

Plus, an additional potential bonus payout may be made in March, based on the overall performance of the Company.

Extended Paid Parental Leave

In 2024, we are increasing Paid Parental Leave from 2 weeks to 4 weeks – providing valuable support for the birth or adoption of a child, which can be broken up into 2-week increments.

Time Off With Pay

Team members receive Vacation Time right from the date of hire, which can conveniently be taken in full day, half day or even 1-hour increments.

11 Paid Holidays are also provided for our team members to enjoy time off with family and friends. Unpaid time is also available for team members to take additional time off, if needed, after paid time off has been taken.

Additional Financial Support in Times of Need

West provides team members with Life Insurance and Accidental Death / Dismemberment Insurance that is equal to the the team members base salary.

Enhanced Short-Term Disability (STD) Pay

For our hourly team members, in 2024, the Basic STD pay will be increased to 40% of your base salary, ensuring a minimum payment of $300 and a max payment of $1,000 per pay period.

This enhancement means you’ll receive 40% of your salary even when you’re unable to work during a disability period.

Adoption Reimbursement Program

This program is in place to support our team members who choose to build their family through adoption.
