DAIKYO D SIGMA® lyophilization stoppers are made from D21-7S a premium quality chlorobutyl elastomer with the tightest particulate specification in the Daikyo portfolio. They are laminated with Daikyo Flurotec™ barrier film on drug contact surface to minimize the interaction between the elastomeric closure and the drug product. These stoppers have automated 100% dimensional verification which results in lower variability contributes to reliable machinability in fill-finish operations.
