Last night, The Philadelphia Business Journal honored 20 individuals from the Greater Philadelphia area with a “Veterans of Influence” award. West’s William Knaup, Engineering Technician, Exton, was among the recipients who were recognized for their ability to capitalize on their unique skills in order to transition from military to civilian life and further advance their careers.

West is proud to host Pedro Sotelo and Nick Colgin from Soldiers to Summits at our Exton Headquarters. Pedro spoke during the West Employee Forum about his military experience, the difficulties he faced returning to civilian life and how Soldiers to Summits helped him break down the barriers and live a full life once again.

West associates at the Williamsport and Jersey Shore, Pa.  facilities recently honored veterans at the First Annual Veteran’s Day parade.  Decked out in West fleece jackets and carrying a West banner, a group of 45 associates and family members marched through Williamsport to honor members of the armed forces who are presently serving or who have served the country.  The group distributed candy and West key chains to onlookers as they made their way to city hall, where Jim Collins, Jersey Shore Director of Operations, served as a parade judge.
